When AI influences decisions, human judgment and responsibility change. I help leaders understand and manage that risk.

Über mich

AI increasingly influences decisions that were once made entirely by humans. This creates risks that are easy to overlook: people may trust AI too quickly, stop questioning its recommendations, or gradually transfer responsibility to systems that cannot actually be responsible. I work on this human layer of AI risk. My focus is on human judgment, automation bias, human oversight, responsibility and the psychological effects of working with AI. My background combines business consulting, executive advisory and psychotherapy. This allows me to examine AI not only as a technology, but as something that changes how people think, decide, work and take responsibility. I help leaders and organisations answer questions such as: When should we trust AI? When should we challenge it? Which decisions should remain human? And how do we prevent AI support from becoming uncritical AI dependence?

Was dich erwartet

We start with a concrete decision, AI use case or organisational problem. Together we examine where AI influences human judgment, where cognitive or organisational risks arise, who actually makes the decision and who remains responsible. I will challenge assumptions rather than simply validate your current approach. You can expect a structured analysis, precise questions and concrete principles for better human-AI decision-making.

Fragen & Antworten

Human Factors in AI examines how people think, decide and behave when they work with AI systems. It includes trust, automation bias, overreliance, accountability, cognitive load and the design of effective human oversight.

I focus on problems where AI affects human judgement, leadership, responsibility or organisational behaviour. Typical questions concern decision-making, human oversight, accountability, trust in AI and the psychological effects of AI at work.

My focus is not on coding, model development or infrastructure. I work on the human and organisational layer. How AI changes decisions, roles, responsibilities and behaviour, and where these changes create risk.

There is no universal rule. It depends on the consequences of the decision, the reliability of the system, uncertainty, available human expertise and who carries responsibility. I help identify where meaningful human judgment is necessary rather than merely adding a formal “human in the loop”.

AI can create automation bias, false confidence, anchoring and diffusion of responsibility. People may accept recommendations too quickly, stop challenging assumptions or gradually delegate judgement without noticing it.

Automation bias is the tendency to give automated recommendations more weight than they deserve. The risk increases when systems appear competent, confident or objective, especially under time pressure or high cognitive load.

I separate technical risk from human and organisational risk. I examine who makes the decision, what information the AI contributes, where human judgement is still required, who can challenge the output and who remains accountable.

Warning signs include declining critical review, accepting AI outputs without independent reasoning, difficulty making decisions without AI assistance and unclear responsibility when something goes wrong. These are human-factor risks rather than purely technical failures.

We start with a concrete problem. I challenge assumptions, identify hidden human and organisational risks and help structure the issue clearly. The goal is a more precise understanding of the problem and practical principles for action.

My background combines business consulting, leadership, psychology and psychotherapy. This allows me to analyse AI not only as a technology, but as something that changes human behaviour, judgement and responsibility.
